365 - 3

Today was a fun day. We went and had lunch with Daddy at the Jambalaya Shoppe in Denham. It was yummy. Then we went to the thrift shop, next was Walmart and then I took the kids to a new park in Walker. We had so much fun today. It was a very nice day to be outside. I took so many pictures at the park but I chose this one for my picture of the day. I had many more. Maybe I will post them later.

We are enjoying our summer so far. I am so glad school is out for a couple of months. We have so much planned for the summer. I am sure Jennifer can relate to me with her experiencing junior and senior camp. I am also planning a trip to north Louisiana to see my mom and dad. I don't remember if I have already written about that but anyway. Amanda will be having to have spacers soon. I thought it was going to be next Wednesday but when I called about our appointment they said it was just another observation. I am ready to get this thing going. That is all for now.

Happy Memorial Day!

First of all I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all our veterans that have made our country what it is today. We have so many freedoms because of these great people.

We really didn't get to do much today because Wylann was out all night fishing and didn't get back this morning until about 5:30am so he slept most of the day and I wasn't able to get on the computer until late. When he decided to get up we went out side just for a little while. It was very hot. Anyway the kids have fishing poles and Caleb was outside playing with his. I took I don't know how many pictures of him but this one was my favorite. Just look at the expression. Priceless to me.

Pretty Flowers

OK. I know that I have already posted 3 times already. I just had to put up these pretty flowers that I took a picture of while I was at church. I really enjoy taking pictures of all the beautiful things God created. I love looking at His beautiful handy work. Here they are. I hope you enjoy.

Painted finger nails!

Well school is finally out and the first thing my girls wanted to do was paint finger nails. They are so funny. You think that they would want to go straight to Grannie's so they can swim but no. We want our finger nails painted. So this morning we painted finger nails. Next they want their toe nails to match. Maybe we can do that tomorrow or Monday.

Bailey's Birthday

The first thing on our list of things to do today was go to Bailey's 10Th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. We all had a great time and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Thanks to Kim we didn't have to pay for nothing but of course Bailey's birthday present. The cake was so delicious. I want one of those cakes for my next birthday. Maybe for my anniversary in September. I hope Bailey has a many more happy birthdays. Happy Birthday Bailey!

Crawfish Boil 09

Well we had our first crawfish for the season. Let me tell you they were so good. Amanda tried them for the first time and she loved them. She was even peeling them by herself. We had a great time fellowshipping with the church family. I am so thankful for them.

Answered Prayer

I know I have already posted today but I had to do it again. I want to share with the whole world my answered prayer. Several months back my daughter Amanda had to have some teeth (5 to be exact) pulled. I was going to have to pay for it to be done. I didn't have that kind of money. I prayed that the Lord would allow me to sew or whatever to come up with the money. I had paid some on it and I just called the dentist office to see what we owed and the account had a negative balance. The Lord allowed the money to come in and pay for my babies teeth to be pulled. I am so thankful for what God did for me. He is amazing. He gives me more than I deserve.

If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:14 KJV

Terrific Thursday

Well not much going on today. I had to leave the house early to pick up the kiddos from school. One more day and its hello summer break. I can't wait for these kids to be out of school. I want to plan a trip to north Louisiana to see the folks and let the kids swim. Poor things, that is the only time they get to play in a pool. The whole time we are there they want to be in the pool as much as they can. I can't blame them at all I remember when I was little. We loved to go swimming even if it meant going to the lake. I don't like the lake to swim in now a days because I like to be able to see the bottom. But that is me. We have a very big weekend planned. It is going to be packed full of things to do. I can't wait. May is always a busy month. It seems we are all the time doing something. Well off I go to try and prepare a meal for tonight.

This is a picture I took of the sky the other day. I love all the big clouds. I could just lay on the grass and look up at the sky forever.

A little of what we did today.

Today I had to take Caleb to get his 4 year old shots. He should have had them when he was 4 but I chose to get them now. He is 5 and will be starting school in the fall. Whoever said going to the doctors office when kids have to get shots was easy is sadly mistaken. Thankfully they do not hate you for taking them. Having to hold them down and tell them it is going to be OK makes me want to cry. The loud sobs and tears. I do not like it at all. I am glad it is over until he turns 11. Maybe by then he will not cry. Next on the agenda is to have my 10 year old Madeline get hers this summer. She is not going to like it at all.
