Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole

5 1/2 cups Mashed potatoes
1/2 cup milk
8 ozs cream cheese, softened
8 ozs sour cream
2t dried parsley
1t garlic salt
1/4t ground nutmeg
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon crisply cooked and crumbled

Combine all ingredients except cheese and bacon in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium high speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Spoon into a lightly greased 13 X 9 baking dish; top with cheese and bacon. Cover and back at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes or until cheese melts.

To me it was better after it sit for about 15 minutes. The potatoes were real runny while they were hot.

Christmas in July!!

You will never guess what I was able to purchase today (actually tonight). My long awaited Nikon D60. I am so excited you would think that I just had a new baby. I have the best husband in the whole wide world. I was able to save for about half of it and he is paying for the rest. I can't wait to play with it. I am so ready to learn this camera. It has come just in time for our shoot. I am on "Cloud 9". I may not be able to sleep tonight. Well I just wanted to share with you guys.

It does not have a name yet and I haven't decided if it's a boy or a girl. I have had several names suggested but would like to know what you think.

Momo is here for a visit and this is what the kids got to do today. We were just going to the mall to buy her a purse. But you know you can't go to the mall without riding the merry go round. Although I think $2 per kid, per ride is ridiculous. Thanks Momo for all the fun we had today.

OK. I don't know what is going on with my blog or maybe it is my computer. It is driving me nuts I do know that. It has said I have posted all these pictures on July 10th. That is not true. I have been posting them daily since that day. I am just venting a little and trying to see if this is the correct date.
