Off to camp!
Well today was the day when I took my girls and dropped them at church for junior camp. Four whole days and nights away from my two girls. I didn't think this was going to be so hard. I can only imagine what it is going to be like when they leave for real. I just can't think about that for now. Anyway this is how we started the day. I woke them up at 7:00am, fixed them breakfast as they was getting dressed, loaded up the truck after they ate and off to church we went. I waited until they pulled out of the church parking lot before I left. Waving and blowing them sugar as they pulled off. I thought I would cry but surprisingly, I didn't. I know they are in good hands but they are my babies and I will worry about them. I know they will have a great time.

They will have a blast and you and your lil man, will have great quality time!
ReplyDeleteSomehow we make it through these tough times. This makes the 3rd year that the boys have gone to camp and left me behind. I have come to realize that it is just part of them being a kid (going off to camp) and that at least they are going to learn more about the Lord and what He has for them.
